Tamiflu

Tamiflu (oseltamivir) can be used to either prevent or treat flu. You can take it within 48 hours from the moment you believe you could have been infected. It’s efficient for the treatment of flu symptoms and helps you to get better soon. Tell your health care provider if you are taking oral steroids, cancer chemotherapy medications or drugs that can affect your immune system. In case any of them are likely to interfere with Tamiflu your doctor will recommend adjusting the dose or will be monitoring your condition closely to make sure you are fully benefitting from the treatment. Even if you feel a lot better shortly after starting the treatment do not stop taking Tamiflu, as improved symptoms may not mean your condition has been treated completely. Taking more Tamiflu will not relieve your symptoms faster and can cause unwanted side effects.
